From Holocaust to Revival: The Complete Tour
What’s included? The Holocaust exhibit and the founding of the kibbutz exhibit, the battlefield re-creation site, and the statue of Mordechai Anielewicz.
Additional details: This emotionally moving experiential tour traces the story of the Jewish People during the dramatic and tragic decade of the Holocaust and the revival. We begin in the museum building with the Holocaust exhibit and the founding of the kibbutz exhibit, and we then visit the Cemetery for the Fallen of 1948. From there, we venture out to the re-creation of the battlefield on which the crucial battles of 1948 were fought and to the statue of Mordechai Anielewicz, located beside the remains of the bombed-out water tower. The hill on which the statue stands also connects us to everyday life in the Gaza Envelope.
A visit to the grave of Righteous Among the Nations Wladyslaw Kowalski, and to the armored vehicle that evacuated the children of the kibbutz, may also be incorporated into the tour.
Duration: Approximately three (3) hours
Please note: Entry to the Holocaust exhibits is limited to visitors aged ten (10) and older. The rest of the tour is open to all ages.

Tour of the Outdoor Sites
What’s included? Tour of the recreation of the battlefield of 1948, the statue of Mordechai Anielewicz, and the water tower.
Additional details: We begin the tour on the green hill that bore witness to acts of exceptional heroism and that tells the fascinating story of the 150 kibbutz members and Palmach fighters who fought in the battles here during the effort to establish the Jewish state. The site contains connection tunnels and battle positions which visitors can enter in order to experience up-close the heroic stand by the few against the many.
A visit to the Cemetery for the Fallen of 1948 and to the armored vehicle that evacuated the children of the kibbutz may also be incorporated into this tour.
Duration: Approximately an hour and a half (1.5 hrs.)

Museum Tour of the Holocaust Exhibit and the Establishment of the Kibbutz Exhibit
What’s included? Tour of the Holocaust to Revival Museum and the outdoor sites
Additional details: During this emotionally moving and empowering experience, we stroll among the museum galleries, which recount the tragic story of European Jewry during the Holocaust and the story of the establishment of Kibbutz Yad Mordechai. It is an experience that connects the past and the present, with an eye toward the future. In the museum, we view unique exhibits that shed light on the life of the Jewish community of Warsaw, from the heights of splendor to the destruction of the Holocaust. We also view an authentic and accurate model of the Warsaw Ghetto, as well as a model of the command bunker at 18 Mila St. that recounts the story of the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising.
